Met one of the owners at an event I was tabling and cannot emphasize how genuinely kind they were. They gave all the vendors free shaved ice to make sure we weren't overheating and to say hello - and it was DELICIOUS. Personally I'm not a strawberry fan but I devoured the Strawberry Shortcake Kakeguri with homemade shortcake topping and shortcake ice cream. Their prices were all super affordable cause they come with the intent to "feed the masses" (direct quote) and everything was fresh and homemade. I had the privilege to take home their leftover Fruit Sandos, Egg and Potato Salad Sandos, Onigiri, and Spam Musubi and they've fed me for days. Cannot give these guys high enough praise.

I've been trying to visit this place for a while now. The parking is probably why. I finally decided to go for it. Lucky enough to find street parking. You can miss this place when driving by so keep your eyes peeled. It's small inside there is a fridge section with drinks and to go items. The counter is where you order the sandwich's. This time around I picked up an egg sando. It was a little small but a great sandwich. I could've ate another one. This place has a couple of seats to sit and enjoy your sando or like me on this occasion just grab n go. I'll be back on my next lunch outing to try other sandos.

Honey walnut shrimp sando is my FAVORITE thing to get here! The fry on the shrimps are crispy, not greasy. They also have big chunks of the shrimp in there, so they don't skimp in my opinion. The sandwich is filling and has great flavor. Also order their waffle fries too as a side! It's a small shop but quick service from when you order.

Japanese style sandwich shop, offering a whimsical menu of katsu, beyond your typical pork cutlet. They also have combini inspired snacks, rice plates, and sides like wagyu curry cheese fries. There are currently two locations: San Gabriel, and this one, in Chinatown. I placed an order for delivery, which arrived carefully packaged. The sandwiches were $6-$12, which felt reasonable for the high quality milk bread and other ingredients used. The Mushroom Katsu Sando was exceptional. The breading was crisp, golden perfection, and the mushroom within juicy and bursting with umami. A bit of cabbage provided a nice fresh crunch. The Egg Salad Sando was a creamy, comforting delight, and both the fruit and whipped cream in the Seasonal Fruit Sando tasted fresh. I loved the Spicy Krab Onigiri as well. Recommended.
